Here's my life story; not really, but kinda.

Before I had ever considered becoming a designer I was learning to think like a designer. I would credit my dad for teaching me this, but I think it was a happy accident. The experiences I had working in his ski goggle manufacturing plant growing up was where I learned to think like a designer. My dad valued my thoughts and ideas and challenged me to take notice of things that worked well and why they did; as well as places where systems could be improved. He is thoughtful, conscientious, driven and detail oriented. These are all qualities a great designer must possess and thanks to him I have been nurturing these qualities for years.

Much like the design process, my path to getting where I am today has been circuitous. Iā€™m constantly seeking out new experiences and questioning how or why things are as they are in both my professional and personal life. This constant curiosity gives me the ability to think big and offer a unique point of view when creating solutions to a variety of problems.

I look forward to continuing to build meaningful connections as I grow as a creative problem solver, so that I can make a positive contribution to the community.
